More Ways to Give
Our STRONG COMMUNITY
For over 40 years, Catholic Charities Diocese of Venice, Inc. has served individuals and families living in poverty and the most vulnerable members of our community. With our mission guiding us, our employees and volunteers serve those struggling with homelessness, hunger, mental health issues, addictions, and more. We could not do this without donations and the support of our community. Below are other ways to make an impact and give to help change the life of someone today.
More Ways to Give
How to Mail in a Donation
Please mail to: Catholic Charities, Diocese of Venice, Inc. 1000 Pinebrook Road Venice, Florida 34285-6426.
If you would like to include details of your gift, please use this form:
Corporate Matching Gifts
Ask your employer if they match donations that you make to CCDOV. If so, request the matching gift from your employer to double the impact of your giving! Please contact us for more information.
Memorial and Honorarium Gifts
These gifts can be made in memory or honor of a family member, friend, or volunteer during a special time. When making a gift online, please be sure to mark the checkbox “Yes, this gift is in memory or in honor of someone” on our online donation form. Otherwise, please contact us for more information.
NonCash Gifts (In Kind Donations)
In-kind gifts can provide items that our clients desperately need such as toiletries, cleaning and paper products, clothing, household furniture and similar items. Contact your local regional office regarding contributions of needed goods and services.
Stocks and Securities
Securities gifts are the transfer of stock, bonds, and other securities, especially those that have increased in value. For instructions on making a securities gift to Catholic Charities
Diocese of Venice, please contact Rob Wildermuth at (941) 488-5581 or email, Rob.Wildermuth@
Planned Giving
Giving through your will or trust offers a way to support Catholic Community Services Diocese of Venice’s mission for generations to come while meeting your current financial needs. Informing us of your intentions will help us better plan for the future.
To make a legacy gift, you can share the following bequest language with your attorney:
I give, devise and bequeath to Catholic Community Diocese of Venice (tax ID # 59-2473176) a tax-exempt organization doing business at 1000 Pinebrook Road, Venice, Florida, 34285, the sum of $____________ (or) _____% of my estate (or property described herein) (or) the residual amount of my estate. If you wish, you may designate a specific program or service area of CCDOV.
IRA Qualified Charitable Distribution:
If you are 70.5 or older, you may donate up to $100,000 per year directly from your traditional or Roth IRA to CCDOV. It can satisfy all or part of your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD). Under RMD law, you are free to make annual gifts to CCDOV in the current year and well into the future.
Why Consider This Gift?
- Your gift will be put to use immediately, allowing you to see the difference your donation is making.
- Since the gift doesn’t count as income, it can reduce your annual income level. This may help lower your Medicare premiums and decrease the amount of Social Security that is subject to tax.
- You pay no income taxes on the gift. The transfer generates neither taxable income nor a tax deduction, so you benefit even if you do not itemize your deductions.
As with any planned gift, it is important to talk to your financial or legal advisor.
Monthly Giving
By giving monthly, you demonstrate your continued commitment to our mission of providing equal access to justice. When you give monthly, your chosen amount will be automatically deducted from your account on the date of your choice.
