SUCCESS STORIES
We served a young single mom with two small children fleeing a domestic violence situation. We provided emergency shelter, case management and found permanent housing in the location of her choice. The client was connected with counseling and other community providers to ensure the family has supports in place. The client stated that she loves her new home.
Another family consisting of a mom and three children were assisted when the family found themselves unexpectedly homeless. The mother had never lived on her own before and has since found a job and the family moved into a home of their own through education and support. “I was helped a lot by Catholic Charities with finding a home and other opportunities. They were very resourceful and easy to work with. I am pleased so far by the help.”
And another family said: “ Everyone was absolutely wonderful, shelter was private and very inviting. It was the help we needed to get back on our feet. We thank you all for your wonderful services!”
We also have family that consists of mom and dad with three daughters who came into the program with much debt and poor credit score. Since coming into the program they have paid off their debt and increased their credit score. They are presently looking for a home of their own to purchase.
