AFCAAM Center
dedicated to enhancing the lives of children and youth
About
At Catholic Charities, Diocese of Venice, Inc., we hold a steadfast commitment to nurturing the youth of our community, guiding and inspiring them to become lifelong learners, community builders, and individuals dedicated to serving others. This mission comes to life through our dedicated programs, such as the Youth Mentoring Programs and After-School Reading Program, which are hosted at the AFCAAM Center. As an integral part of Catholic Charities, AFCAAM serves as a guiding compass for children, leading them towards the essential values of Leadership, Citizenship, Fellowship, and Stewardship. Through these initiatives, we aim to instill in young individuals a sense of purpose, responsibility, and connection to their community, empowering them to become compassionate leaders and contributors to society.

Success Story
“Charles came to AFCAAM for our after school program. He was struggling in school academically and socially. Each day we would work with him on his school work and allow him to partake in any activities. Over time we saw Charles not only start getting better grades but also open up and be more confident in his social interactions. We are so proud of the young man he is becoming.”
