About
Casa San Juan Bosco’s Educational and enrichment programming has been a staple for the community for many years. Catholic Charities offers educational assistance for children such as; after school program, summer reading programs, and community events i.e. fall festival, health fairs and the Posada. Catholic Charities also offers learning courses and life skills courses for adults and parents such as English classes, cooking classes, food distribution, SPARCC, sewing classes etc. We also assist with the process of applying for SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) and other related forms for our Hispanic and migrant communities
Program Overview
ELIGIBILITY
Casa San Juan Bosco of Catholic Charities Diocese of Venice, Inc. has served the rural community of Arcadia for more than 20 years. Arcadia has long been a region of poor migrant workers. Casa San Juan Bosco Farm Worker Housing is a Catholic Charities development located in Arcadia that provides quality and affordable homes to area farmworkers and their families. The family-friendly, energy-efficient, and green neighborhood features 97 three- and four-bedroom, two-bath homes with appliances, playgrounds, soccer fields, a community garden, and two community centers with a computer lab/library.

HOURS OPEN: 1pm-3pm Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 8 Weeks of Summer
