Catholic Charities Diocese of Venice, Inc. offers a variety of programs at the Elizabeth Kay Galeana Center in Fort Myers that provide families and individuals with vital assistance designed to help them find their potential for success and to become more self-sufficient.

PROGRAMS AND SERVICES

Food Pantry
Feeding the hungry through a food pantry. Qualified individuals can receive a bag or two of food depending on the number of family members in their residence.

Diaper Assistance Program
Aiding families experiencing hardship with diapers.

Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Outreach
Guiding clients with applications for food stamps, Medicaid, and other assistance from the State of Florida.

Disaster Response and Recovery
Meeting the needs of the community before, during, and after a disaster.

Immigration and Citizenship Services
Assisting immigrants with family reunification and citizenship services.

Rapid Rehousing Services
Working with the local Continuum of Care, Catholic Charities offers permanent housing programs for the homeless in Lee County
including:
– Housing identification services to determine and find appropriate housing
– Rental and move-in assistance covers move-in costs, deposits and utility fees
– Client-centered case management
– Linkage and referrals to vocational, educational, behavioral health treatment programs, peer support programs and other community based providers

Behavioral Health
Individual and Family counseling services available to residents of Lee, Hendry and Glades counties at no cost. Services are currently provided by telehealth.
