Providing Help. Creating Hope. Serving All.
Catholic Charities Diocese of Venice, Inc. provides two programs, Bethesda House and Casa San Jose, that offer a full range of services for people living with HIV/AIDS.
The number of people affected by HIV continues to escalate, however, individuals and families often receive little community support. As a result, they try to remain anonymous so they are not further victimized by the stigma connected with the illness.
Bethesda House and Casa San Jose offer a safe place, where people diagnosed with HIV/AIDS can receive care and acceptance. The programs provide a substitute home and family…so even the homeless have a place where they “belong.”
Bethesda House and Casa San Jose provide services with love, compassion, dignity, and respect to help clients live healthy, more satisfying, and independent lives.
Bethesda House
Bethesda House of Catholic Charities is a drop-in community center that provides compassionate support services for people living with HIV/AIDS. Services include a nutritional center, clothing closet, laundry and shower facilities, along with support groups, individual and family counseling, case management, transportation assistance, job referral, and links to medical services.

Bethesda House welcomes volunteers. Volunteers are needed for assistance with the food nutritional center, maintenance, fundraising, and administration. Please consider giving your time to this worthy program.
