ABOUT
The Rapid Rehousing Program is a compassionate and effective initiative aimed at providing vital housing support and resources to individuals and families facing homelessness in the Sarasota County community. With a deep commitment to helping others and giving hope, this program offers a lifeline to those experiencing housing instability, helping them secure safe and stable housing as quickly as possible. By offering a comprehensive range of services, including rental assistance, case management, employment support, and access to community resources, the program empowers participants to regain their independence and rebuild their lives.
Program Overview
ELIGIBILITY
This program aids incidentally and chronically homeless individuals and families in obtaining permanent housing. The program is only available in Sarasota County and all referrals must come through the Sarasota County Coordinated Entry System.

SUCCESS STORIES
A family consisting of a mom and three children were assisted when the family found themselves unexpectedly homeless. The mother had never lived on her own before and has since found a job and the family moved into a home of their own through education and support. “I was helped a lot by Catholic Charities with finding a home and other opportunities. They were very resourceful and easy to work with. I am pleased so far by the help.”
41 Sarasota County residents have been enrolled for housing services since the impact of Hurricane Ian
